Hearing Loss Network Home

We're here to assist members of the San Diego hearing loss community to improve their quality of life. If you're a person affected by hearing loss, we may provide a program that you'll find helpful, or we may refer you to someone who is better able to assist you than we are. We might even develop a new program if you reveal a need that is not currently being met. Our focus is on people who are hard of hearing or late-deafened and their families, friends, etc., but anyone affected by hearing loss is welcome at Hearing Loss Network.

If you represent an organization that provides services to southern Californians with hearing loss, we want to work with you! We may be able to collaborate to provide a service that neither of us can manage alone. Or perhaps we can become part of each other's resource networks. There are certainly enough needs that aren't being met that we don't want to devote our time and energy to something that's already being done. So, if you're not listed in our resources section, please let us know so we can include you in our network.

Or maybe you're one of the angels (also known as volunteers or donors) who enable us to continue providing services to southern Californians affected by hearing loss. We're always ready to give you an assignment or accept your donation! You won't have to ask twice ;-)

Just to show you that we really do listen to your ideas, someone contacted our webmaster and complained that it was too hard to find our literature. (We have a small, but growing, collection of brochures, information sheets, etc. We encourage you to download what you like - and if you can distribute some of it, that's even better.) The person who contacted us was right! So we added a link in our header, another in our left column index, and included a link to our literature here.
